Portland Rose Garden – Bruce found this on our previous trip and it was Top Of List for this trip. It is the one place to see in Portland if you only have time to see one place. – Their Website

Oregon Museum of Science and Industry – Their Website – The Monsters of the Deep was a really fascinating exhibit of REALLY BIG FISH!

Multnomah Falls – This is the most famous of the falls on the Columbia River Waterfall Route. Everyone who comes to Portland eventually winds up here. Horrible and expensive parking but well worth the selfie. We went to a few others and the drive is very pretty even in the overcast conditions. Stop at Vista Lookout for the most expansive view of the river.

Bonneville Dam and Fish Hatchery – Another Bruce find from a previous trip. Not many fish climbing the ladder but we saw a few (and thousands of little ones at the hatchery) and we had a Dam good time. (Their website)

Portland Train Heritage Museum – Their Website we visited Thursday and it is a fascinating place if you are a train buff. Nice people who are very knowledgeable about the collection.
