2025 Barbara and Nowell’s Excellent Portland and Seattle Adventure
We planned to go to Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico on October 7 but the government shutdown made that impossible so we flew to Portland Oregon instead. Three days there then two in Seattle (one a birthday celebration day) was a welcome respite from the nonsense. I knew several of the places we visited because Bruce and I did a trip there in 2004. Wednesday and Thursday was a whirlwind two days before driving to Seattle on Friday. The only place I didn’t take photos was The Grotto. (If you are Catholic it is a must go. Their website)
