One hallmark of many BNEA trips is the problem with maps. This was one such debacle. The GPS and the paper map both couldn’t find Goose Falls. Ultimately we discovered what should have been a Falls but instead we got goosed. It took an hour of turnarounds and wrong roads only to find that the easy walk along the beach was not easy. In fact it wasn’t near the beach. We gave up after about 20 yards of trying to navigate a narrow path atop roots, twigs and rocks. We found the beach and had a spirited discussion about how people on a boat get to shore and back. Don’t ask. Just look at the photos. Trust me.
