Pine Creek Gorge is billed as the Grand Canyon of the East. We were supposed to start at the north entrance and work our way south but GPS took us to the South entrance. Regardless, it was worth the trip just for the vultures and flower photos. It stretches for over 45 miles with depths of nearly 1500 feet and offers features such as steep canyon walls and waterfalls. It is part of the Tioga State Forest.
