The sheer number of things that came from this trip is staggering. We talk about this trip as one of the top ever taken. I gave it our first ever Shining Star Award. It was a really excellent adventure. Really Excellent! Really.
We went to Hurricane Ridge to see snow blow into the air. We too a stroll in snow which was no big deal for him being from Northern Illinois but was highly novel for my Southern California experience.
Before this trip I never imagined that I would ever encounter the term “GeoDuck” much less eat one for breakfast but I did and I did. Breaded and pan fried with poached eggs made for a surprisingly good start to the exploration of it’s native home,
Bruce found the tulips at RoozenGaarde Tulip Farms in Mt. Vernon. The photo of him speaking with a random dog set a precedent for Dr. Doolittle episodes in the future.
